Music and Sound for Games
Over the years we've worked on dozens of online games for some very high profile clients. In that time we've seen the technologies mature and the games become more fun in the process. In collaboration with 4T2 Multimedia we've created a huge variety of music in many different styles, as well as creating distinctive bespoke sound effects that really bring the games to life. Here are some of the highlights;
Latest game project: Lego 'World Racers'
Music and Sound Effects
We recently produced a Music and Sound FX package for Lego 'World Racers' driving game. This campaign helps LEGO promote their new World Racers brand. Each product has a vehicle from two competing teams that are capable of taking on a specific environment. There's hovercraft, buggies, helicopters, snow mobiles, trucks, sharks and surfable crocodiles waiting to be unlocked, all with unique and bespoke sound effects. In addition each region in the game has its own music, which rocks!! Don't go breaking the speed limit now...

BBC Radio 1's Fastest Time Wins

Over 1 million game sessions in seven weeks
BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra launched a week of gaming-themed content with an exclusive online campaign "Fastest Time Wins". The game allows players to race in the guise of a DJ against the station's guest celebrities.
Fastest Time Wins was launched by Chris Moyles and his breakfast team in late October 2009, and formed part of their "Get Your Game On" week of events. Players race as a 3D avatar of a DJ, each with a customised racing Kart that reflected the station's ongoing 'Hello' campaign. Fearne Cotton even took to the virtual air on a flying carpet. Throughout the week, guests and presenters recorded their own fastest laps live on Radio 1 for the audience to race against directly.
Players can listen to BBC Radio 1 in-game and a turbo mode activates if the DJ you pick is on air at the same time you are racing. This helped to highlight DJ show times in an effort to increase listener numbers.

We created music loops and SFX for locations as diverse as the Russian plains and the Sahara Desert. Each challenge has a suitable vehicle with unique sonic characteristics to increase the addictive nature of the campaign.

Egmont 'Too Ghoul for School'

This project was tons of fun from the start. We recorded actor Jonathan Rhodes reading these popular stories, then we moved on to the creation of a whole lot of spooky sound fx, ghosts and ghouls and creaks...pretty spooky. Then to top it off we wrote a real 'Haunted House' style theme tune for the game.

Comet Crazy Sleigh series
Music and Sound Effects
The campaign involved training "Comet the reindeer" on the finer techniques of sleigh flying. The game paid for itself via the direct sales of the advertised gifts within one week of launch.
The game was number one on the Lycos Viral Chart
Crazy Sleigh I was featued on the Channel Four Games website homepage in December 2007, four years after it was born!

Cogitate, a game based on the laws of physics, was played over one million times in four months.
The Institution of Engineering and Technology's (IET) highly addictive game allows users to manipulate gears, beams, conveyors and motors in order to complete set puzzles. They then have the option to set puzzles and challenge other players to complete them.
